Nest Box 1 located 20 yards after the Notice Board on Ivy covered tree stump, currently not sponsored - Last year: Great/Blue Tits nested/bred (4 died in the nest). This year: Empty.
Nest Box 2 located in the Plantation, sponsored by Judy Passingham - Last year: Nesting attempted. This year: Predated. Entrance hole has been pecked and thus made larger.
Nest Box 3 located by the Rotunda Hide, sponsored by Ken Baker - Last year: Blue Tits nested/bred (3 died in the nest). This year: Empty.
Nest Box 4 located at right side of the Plantation, near the pathway, sponsored by Paul Ward - Last year: Great/Blue Tits nested and possibly bred. This year: Great/Blue Tits nested and possibly bred.
Nest Box 5 located at the back left corner of the Plantation, sponsored by Jill Kempster - Last year and This year: Nesting attempted but predated. Entrance hole has been pecked and thus made much larger.
Nest Box 6 located at the back of the Plantation, sponsored by Jill Kempster - Last year and This year: Empty. Entrance hole has been pecked a bit wider.
Nest Box 7 located by the Pond / Feeding site, sponsored by Mr & Mrs Turner - Last year: Blue Tits nested and bred. This year: Evidence of Blue Tit nesting. Entrance hole pecked a little.
Nest Box 8 located by the junction of the pathways to the Shell and Rotunda hides , sponsored by Mr & Mrs Stevens - Last Year and This year: Nesting attempted (by Blue or Great Tits).
Nest Box 9 located by the Sluice (left of the bridge), currently not sponsored - Last Year: Great/Blue Tits nested. This year: Empty. Great Tits were seen using it. Entrance hole OK.
Nest Box 10 located 30 yards before the Sluice Hide, currently not sponsored - Last Year: Not recorded. This year: Blue Tits nested/bred (2 died in the nest). Entrance hole OK.
Nest Box 11 located on Oak Tree by the Flower Meadow, sponsored by Ann and Michael Dent - Last Year: Great/Blue Tits nested. This year: Empty. Entrance hole OK.
Nest Box 12 located by the Kingfisher Hide near Sluice, sponsored by Maddie Jones - Last Year: Wren nested. This year: Great Tits nested/bred (3 died in the nest). Entrance hole OK.
Nest Box 13 located at the footpath edge of the Plantation, sponsored by tbc - New box this year: Empty. Entrance hole pecked wide.
Nest Box 14 located on the Double-decker Hide, sponsored by Geoff Lapworth - Last year: Blue Tits nested/bred (4 died in the nest). This year: Empty. Entrance hole pecked.
Nest Box 15 located at back of the Plantation, sponsored by Jill Lynch and Diane - Last year: Nesting attempted. This year: Evidence of nesting and predation. Entrance hole has been pecked and currently very large.
Nest Box 16 located towards the Double-decker Hide (near the bat boxes), sponsored by Keith & Jan Pursall -Last year: Nesting attempted but predated. This year: Tits nested (1 egg left - Blue Tit?). Entrance hole is OK.

Nest Box A located near Notice Board and bleached tree. Last year: Not recorded. This year: Empty. Entrance hole damaged.
Nest Box B located 15 yards left of Teal Hide. Last year: Not recorded. This year: Failed clutch of 6 Great Tit (?) eggs.
Owl Nest Box C located on old Long Hedge Oak Tree. Last year: Not recorded. This year: Not checked but believed unused.
Barn Owl Nest Box D located on pole in Wildflower Meadow. Last year: Barn Owls. This year: Not checked but no sign of breeding recorded.
Nest Box E located in the Paddock. Last year: Not recorded. This year: A damp nest (Blue Tit?). Entrance hole pecked.
Little Owl Nest Box F located by Lynsters Hide. Last year: Not recorded. This year: Full of dead leaves - possibly by Squirrels.
Last year: 4 (Tree Sparrow) Nest Boxes located along Long Hedge overlooking Lynsters Field - 1 empty, 1 attempted and 2 with (Tit?) nests. This year: Nest Box G - Blue Tit nested. 1 egg left. Nest Box H - Attempted Blue Tit nesting. Nest Box I - Empty. Nest Box J - Wasp's nest inside.
Nest Box K located by the Clubhouse next to the Ivy covered tree. Last year: Not recorded. This year: Nest found (which may have been from a previous year). Gaping entrance hole.
House Sparrow Nest Box L with 3 nesting chambers located on the Clubhouse under the eaves. Last year: Not recorded. This year: All empty.
Tawny Owl Nest Box M - new for 2010 located on tree near corner of pathway towards D/D hide. This year: Empty so far.
